J This is life…if you’re not having fun, you’re not doing

                            it right… J

          For many years, my days have been spent with 11 and 12 year old children…watching them grow as readers and writers. It is such a joy to know that the literacy I cause in children will grow to help shape the adults they will soon become.

          I have been fortunate to achieve a good education and have benefited from many doors it has opened for me. Some of those doors have taken me across this nation and in several parts of the world, building a network of connections to a variety of life situations.

          I have 3 children, two men and a lady!...boys and girls just doesn’t sound right anymore! Two years ago both sons decided to marry within two months of each other. In between the two weddings, my daughter graduated from the University of Tennessee and rowed for the National Championship. Now both sons are expecting their first child…one a boy and the other a girl…these are my first grandchildren due August 22 and September 29, 2010! Excitement for me comes in bunches!

          Life hasn’t always given me what I thought I should have, but it has surrounded me with impressive people and rich experiences. A few good people, who know me well and who appear regularly or just out of nowhere, are the true treasurers in my life!
