The Way We Are
Comments:
After graduation I went to John J. Pershing College, and earned a BS in Biology. I then went to Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry and graduated in 1977. I joined the Navy in my second year at MCV and after graduation was stationed at Lemoore Naval Air Station in California. I went into private practice in Manassas VA for about two years. I then transferred to the Army Dental Corps and was stationed at various bases in the States, Heidelberg Germany, Frankfurt Germany and Bosnia. In 1986 I did a two year Dental Residency in Monterey CA. I retired in 1999 and am now living in Port Orange, FL. I am divorced and have a son Joshua who graduated from Medical College of Virginia Medical School, completed a Radiology residency and a one year fellowship. He is now teaching at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. After retirement I was an assistant Pop Warner football coach for seven years and in 2007 I was fortunate to go on a Dental Mission to Honduras with 27 dental students from the University of Florida.
