It does seem in many ways that the Prom was only yesterday, and Reggie Babcock and I double-dated. Reggie was with Nanci Berryman and I was with Suzie Bowden........no, that WAS a long time ago!
I was fortunate to marry Nanci 38 years ago this month. The unfortunate part of the story is that I lost Nanci in May, due to complications from open heart surgery, five years ago, which allowed us that much more time together.
Ironically, I am leaving Dallas in the morning, to bring Nanci back home, to Virginia.
